Beautycare Brazil, the Internationalization Project of the Brazilian Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrances Industry, created by ABIHPEC (Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), will promote the participation of 23 CT&F (Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrances) industries in one of the fairs that has stood out the most in the Asian market: Cosmoprof India, which will take place from December 5 to 7 in Mumbai. The institutional space of Beautycare Brazil will be at booth J05.
As this is the first participation of the sectorial project focused on the CT&F sector in that country, ABIHPEC will have the relevant support of institutional partners to complement the activities, in addition to holding the business fair. “India is a market that is still little known by the entrepreneurs participating in Beautycare Brazil, but it has growing consumption in several categories of the PHPC sector and good acceptance of Brazilian products, that is, a great opportunity for market opening and generating new business. In preparation, we have already started some activities and offered companies a prior training event on the Indian market, which was held on October 17”, explains Gueisa Silvério, International Business Manager at ABIHPEC.
Parallel activities
In support of their participation in the event, companies associated with Beautycare Brazil will rely on the expertise of ApexBrasil’s regional office, which serves the Middle East, North Africa and India region. The agency’s team will be present on the days of the event and will organize a business agenda with individual meetings between Brazilian industries and Indian buyers, as well as training on market specificities (with a focus on exports) as well as visits to points of sale. Additionally, the Consulate General of Brazil in Mumbai will coordinate a relationship meeting with the group of Brazilian businessmen, together with professionals from ABIHPEC and ApexBrasil, in an open conversation to promote and foster business with the country.
