Beautycare Brazil, the Internationalization Project of the Brazilian Cosmetics, Toiletries and Fragrances Industry, created by ABIHPEC (the Brazilian Association of the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Fragrances Industry) in partnership with ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), will be holding a Trade Mission to South Africa on February 17-20, featuring 11 companies (Embelleze, Naju Cosméticos, Oceanhair Professional, Griffus Cosmetics, Be Factory Laboratories, Let Me Be, Vollmens, Yamá Cosméticos, Sweeteez Gold Caviar, Natuhair Cosméticos, and MacPaul Professional). The meetings scheduled with local South African buyers will be taking place in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
“South Africa has a high purchasing potential for CT&F (Cosmetics, Toiletries and Fragrances) products from Brazil, having received $220,300 in items from companies participating in Beautycare Brazil in 2024 (a total 9.4% higher than in 2023). Their greatest interest has been in finished products, which grew by 34.4% in 2024, and Ingredients, which had a 5.7% increase compared to 2023,” said Gueisa Silvério, International Business Manager at ABIHPEC and manager of the Beautycare Brazil project.
