Baralan, a consolidated player in primary packaging for the cosmetics and beauty industries, has introduced a new series of Inner Cups. Available in two sizes, the Inner Cups can be combined with Baralan’s glass Maria Jars to create a refillable packaging option, offering an environmentally conscious approach to skincare packaging.
Developed with a continuous commitment to increase the company’s sustainability-minded packaging portfolio, the new Inner Cups were inspired by the latest market trends, increasingly focused on refillable solutions. Furthermore, they were the outcome of Baralan’s “Beautytude” concept, which expresses the company’s attitude toward beauty and take on current trends, with sustainability chief among them.
After the launch of the company’s DEA Series, the first glass airless system offering the possibility to refill the glass container, the new Inner Cups are Baralan’s first solution for refillable jars. Suitable for skincare products and with filling capacities of 30 ml and 50 ml, they can be combined respectively with Maria Jar 50ml and 75ml. Both feature wide necks that makes it considerably easier for users to reach product inside, maximizing ease of use. For added convenience, they can be equipped with a specific protection disc to preserve product integrity.
Featuring an entirely new design that balances user comfort with environmental responsibility, the new Inner Cups promote the possibility to refill glass jars and to use alternative materials, such as PCR (post-consumer recycled) content. Furthermore, they can be produced in different colors, to optimize packaging usage for different formula solutions.
With a deep expertise that comes from developing glass primary packaging for over six decades, the series was developed with a continued concentration on sustainability, to meet one of the most current trends in this area and consumers’ requests. In addition, to further fulfil clients’ needs, Baralan can also work on specific projects, to develop ad hoc Inner Cup solutions for other types of jars.
